We're a small team of former players and volleyball coaches who got tired of chalk diagrams smudging on the sideline clipboard mid-match. LineupSet started as a scrappy whiteboard app for our own Saturday league and grew into a proper tool once other coaches started asking to borrow it.
Our mission is simple: take the guesswork out of rotations so coaches can spend their mental energy on the match, not on remembering who covers zone 4 after the next side-out. Confidence in the lineup should never be the thing standing between a team and a good set.

LineupSet ("the App") is built on one core principle: your data belongs on your device, not on our servers. This policy explains, in plain terms, exactly what that means.
We collect nothing. LineupSet has no account system, no sign-up, no login, and never asks for your name, email address, phone number, or location. There is no analytics library embedded in the App and no background tracking of any kind. Every piece of information you enter — your roster, starting formations, zone assignments, and serve outcomes (aces, in-play serves, errors) — is created by you, for you, and stored only on your own device.
Because nothing is collected, nothing is used, analyzed, aggregated, or sold. There are no servers processing your match data and no algorithms studying your rotations behind the scenes. Every feature — building your starting lineup, rotating the court, tracking serves, and reviewing set history — runs entirely on-device, using only the processing power of your own phone or tablet.
All lineup data, rotation history, and serve logs are stored locally in the App's private storage on your device. LineupSet does not use cloud storage, does not sync to remote servers, and does not maintain any database of user information anywhere outside your device.
LineupSet does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. No data is shared with, or accessible to, any outside company, service, or platform.
Because your information never leaves your device, there is no transmission for anyone to intercept and no remote database that could be exposed. Your device's own operating system protections are the primary safeguard, and we've deliberately kept the App's footprint small to minimize any risk.
LineupSet does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data collection occurs at all, the App is compliant with the spirit of COPPA and similar child-privacy protections by design, not by policy alone.
You are always in full control of your data. Since everything lives locally, deleting the App removes all associated lineup and match data immediately. There are no cloud backups to request deletion from and no account to close, because none exists.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. Any update will carry a revised effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
